varygroundspeedofthesprayer.Pressingthepedal
increasesgroundspeed.Releasingthepedalwillslow
thesprayerandtheenginewillidle.

Usethebrakepedaltostoporslowthesprayer
(Figure11).
CAUTION
Brakescanbecomewornorcanbeadjusted
incorrectlyresultinginpersonalinjury.
Ifbrakepedaltravelstowithin1inch(2.5cm)ofthe
sprayeroorboard,thebrakesmustbeadjusted
orrepaired.
ParkingBrake
Theparkingbrakeisalargelevertotherightoftheseat.
(Figure12).Engagetheparkingbrakewheneveryou
planonleavingtheseattopreventaccidentalmovement
ofthesprayer.Toengagetheparkingbrake,pullupand
backonthelever.Todisengage,pushitforwardand
down.Ifthesprayerisparkedonasteepgrade,apply
theparkingbrakeandplaceblocksatthedownhillside
ofthewheels.
