1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Raisetherearofthemachineupontojackstands
highenoughtoraisethedrivewheelsofftheground.
4.Checkthehydraulicuidlevel.
5.Starttheengineandmovethethrottlecontroltothe
fullthrottleposition.Movethespeedcontrollever
tothemiddlespeedpositionandplacethedrive
leversintothedriveposition.
Ifeitherdrivewheeldoesnotrotate,itispossibleto
assistthepurgingofthechargepumpbycarefully
rotatingthetireintheforwarddirection.
Note:Itisnecessarytolightlytouchthecharge
pumpcapwithyourhandtocheckthepump
temperature.Ifthecapistoohottotouch,turnoff
engine.Thepumpsmaybedamagedifthepump
becomestoohot.Ifeitherdrivewheelstilldoesnot
rotatecontinuetonextstep.

8.Ifeitherdrivewheelstilldoesnotrotate,stopand
repeatsteps4and5ontherespectivepump.If
wheelsrotateslowly,thesystemmayprimeafter
additionalrunning.Recheckhydraulicuidlevel.
9.Allowunittorunseveralminutesafterthecharge
pumpsareprimedwithdrivesysteminthefullspeed
position.
10.Checkthehydrocontrollinkageadjustment.Refer
toAdjustingtheHydroControlLinkages.
CheckingtheHydraulicHoses
ServiceInterval:Every100hours
Checkhydraulichosesforleaks,loosettings,kinked
lines,loosemountingsupports,wear,weatherand
chemicaldeterioration.Makenecessaryrepairsbefore
operating.
Note:Keepareasaroundhydraulicsystemcleanfrom
grassanddebrisbuildup.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.
Ifhydraulicuidisinjectedintotheskinit
mustbesurgicallyremovedwithinafewhours
byadoctorfamiliarwiththistypeofinjury.
Gangrenemayresultifthisisnotdone.
Keepbodyandhandsawayfrompinholeleaks
ornozzlesthatejecthighpressurehydraulic
uid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks.
Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulicsystem
beforeperforminganyworkonthehydraulic
system.
Makesureallhydraulicuidhosesandlinesare
ingoodconditionandallhydraulicconnections
andttingsaretightbeforeapplyingpressureto
hydraulicsystem.
