CleaningtheAir-intake
Screen
Beforeeachuse,removeanybuildupofgrass,dirt,
orotherdebrisfromthecylinderandcylinder-head
coolingns,theair-intakescreenontheywheelend,
andthecarburetor-governorleversandlinkage.This
willhelpensureadequatecoolingandcorrectengine
speedandwillreducethepossibilityofoverheating
andmechanicaldamagetotheengine.

Every100hours/Yearly(whichevercomesrst)
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Removetheair-intakescreen,therecoilstarter,
andthefanhousing(Figure35).
4.Cleanthedebrisandgrassfromtheengine
parts.
5.Installtheair-intakescreen,therecoilstarter,
andthefanhousing(Figure35).
