ramp,useenoughindividualrampstosimulatea
full-width,continuousramp.
Avoidsuddenaccelerationwhendrivinguparamp
andsuddendecelerationwhenbackingdowna
ramp.Bothmaneuverscancausethemachineto
tipbackward.
TransportingtheMachine
Useaheavy-dutytrailerortrucktotransportthe
machine.Ensurethatthetrailerortruckhasall
thenecessarybrakes,lighting,andmarkingas
requiredbylaw.Pleasecarefullyreadallthesafety
instructions.
1.Raisethetinesofthemachinebeforedriving
ontothetrailerortruck.
2.Ifusingatrailer,connectittothetowingvehicle
andconnectthesafetychains.
3.Ifapplicable,connectthetrailerbrakes.
4.Loadthemachineontothetrailerortruck.
5.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,engagethe
parkingbrake,andclosethefuelvalve.
6.Engagetheparkingbrakeandblockthetires.
7.Usethetie-downpointsonthemachineto
securelybindthemachinetothetrailerortruck
withstraps,chains,cable,orropes(Figure30).
