3. Slide the harness wire (red) onto the solenoid term-
inal (Fig. 1555):
5. Position the starter cable onto the solenoid terminal.
Install a lockwasher and nut to secure (Fig. 1557).

6. Connect the negative battery cable to the battery.4. Position the battery cable onto the solenoid terminal,
over the red harness wire. Install a lockwasher and
nut to secure. Position the boot over the connection
(Fig. 1556).
