3. Lower the machine to access the top of the mower

deck.

4. Install a nut onto each of the 2 self-tapping screws to

secure the discharge bafﬂ e to the underside of the

mower (Fig. 1278).

1. Turn the ignition off and remove the key. Set the

parking brake.

2. Remove the nuts from the 2 self-tapping screws

that secure the ﬁ xed bafﬂ e to the mower deck (Fig.

1280).

3. Remove the carriage bolt and nut securing the ﬁ xed

bafﬂ e to the left side of the mower deck (Fig. 1281).

5. Install the right hand belt cover (Fig. 1279).
