Thethrottlecontrolhas2positions:FastandSlow.
Choke
Usethechoketostartacoldengine.
BladeControlBail
Thebailisusedinconjunctionwiththepowertakeoffswitch
(PTO)toengagetheclutchtodrivethemowerblades.Release
themowercontrolbailtodisengagethemowerblades.
PowerTakeOffSwitch(PTO)
Thispullswitchisusedinconjunctionwiththebladecontrol
bailtoengagetheclutchtodrivethemowerblades.
GearShiftLever
Thetransmissionhas5forwardspeeds,neutral,reverse,and
hasanin-lineshiftpattern.
Important:Donotshiftwhiletheunitismoving,as
transmissiondamagemayoccur.
UpperControlBar
Shifttothedesiredgearandpushforwardontheupper
controlbartoengageforwardtractionoperationandpull
backtobrakeforwardmovement.Pullbackonrightsideof
uppercontrolbartoturnrightandleftsidetoturnleft.
LowerControlBar
Shiftthetransmissiontoreverseandsqueezethelower
controlbarandhandletogethertoengagetherearward
tractionassistoperation.
ParkingBrakeLever
Pullbackontheuppercontrolbarandswingthebrakelever
upagainsttheupperhandle(Figure5).
IgnitionSwitch
Thisswitchisusedinconjunctionwiththerecoilstarterand
has2positions:RunandOff.
RecoilStarter
Pulltherecoilstarterhandletostarttheengine.
FuelShutoffValve
Closethefuelshutoffvalvewhentransportingorstoringthe
machine.
