ChangingtheEngineOil
1.Parkthemachinesothatthedrainsideisslightly
lowerthantheoppositesidetoassuretheoildrains
completely.
2.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
4.Slidethedrainhoseovertheoildrainvalve.
5.Placeapanbelowthedrainhose.Rotateoildrainvalve
toallowoiltodrain(Figure33).
6.Whenoilhasdrainedcompletely,closethedrainvalve.
7.Removethedrainhose(
Figure33).
Note:Disposeoftheusedoilatarecyclingcenter.

EngineOil.
2.Removetheoldlter(

4.Installthereplacementoilltertothelteradapter,
turntheoillterclockwiseuntiltherubbergasket
contactsthelteradapter,thentightenthelteran
additional3/4turn(
Figure34).
5.Fillthecrankcasewiththepropertypeofnewoil;refer
toServicingtheEngineOil.
6.Runtheengineforabout3minutes,stoptheengine,
andcheckforoilleaksaroundtheoillteranddrain
valve.
7.Checktheengineoillevelandaddoilifneeded.
8.Wipeupanyspilledoil.
