machinemaymoveinthedirectionoppositeof
whatyouintended,causinginjuryand/orproperty
damage.
Carefullycheckthetractiondriveandadjust
itproperly,ifnecessary;refertoCheckingthe
TractionDriveOperationinSetupformore
information.
Important:Ifthemachinemoveswhenthetraction
leverisinthereleasedposition,checkthetraction
cable(refertoCheckingandAdjustingtheTraction
Cable)ortakethemachinetoanAuthorizedService
Dealerforservice.

Thewheelclutchleversallowyoutomomentarily
disengagethedrivetooneorbothwheelswiththe
tractiondriveleverstillengaged.Thisenablesyouto
turnandmaneuverthemachineeasily.
Note:Holdingdownthetractionleveragainstthe
handleengagesthetractiondrivetobothwheels.
Toturnthemachinetotheright,liftupontheright
wheelclutchleverandsqueezeittowardthehandle
(
Figure36).

whiletheleftwheelcontinuesdriving,andthemachine
turnstotheright.

Whenyoucompletetheturn,releasethewheelclutch
lever,andthedrivere-engagesbothwheels(
Figure37).

Momentarilysqueezingandreleasingtheleftorright
wheelclutchleveralsoallowsforsteeringadjustments
tokeepthemachinegoinginastraightline,especially
indeepsnow .
Squeezingbothwheelclutchleverssimultaneously
disengagesthedrivetobothwheels.Thisenablesyouto
manuallymovethemachinebackwardwithoutstopping
toshiftitintoareversegear.Italsoallowsyouto
maneuverandtransportthemachinemoreeasilywhen
theengineisnotrunning.
