Purpose
The horn produces a loud tone to let the operator know that the engine is
overheating.
How It Works
When 12 volts is applied to the two terminals, a plate inside the horn
oscillates which produces a loud, audible tone.
Testing
1. Disconnect the horn from the wiring harness.
2. Apply 12 volts to the two terminals on the backside of the horn. (It does
not matter which way you connect the wires.) If the horn does not
sound, replace the horn since it is not serviceable.

Purpose
This simple incandescent bulb is used to indicate to the operator that a low
oil level has been detected during starting.
How It Works
The filament glows when 12 volts is applied. There is no polarity although
the lamp comes with a ground ring and male terminal already attached.
Testing
1. Disconnect the lamp from the wiring harness.
2. Apply 12 volts from a known good source. If the lamp does not light,
replace it.
