Wheneveryouchangetheheight-of-cut,adjustthe
heightoftheanti-scalprollers(Figure12).

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
cuttingunit,engagetheparkingbrake,shutoff
theengine,andremovethekey.
2.Removetheange-headboltsandnutsfromthe
skid.
3.Movetheskidtothedesiredpositionandsecure
ittothecuttingunitwiththeange-headbolts
andnuts(Figure14).

Mismatch
Duetodifferencesingrassconditionsandthe
counterbalancesettingofthetractionunit,itisadvised
thatgrassbecutandappearancecheckedbefore
formalcuttingisstarted.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
cuttingunit,engagetheparkingbrake,shutoff
theengine,andremovethekey.
2.Setthecuttingunittothedesiredheightofcut;
refertoOperation(page12).
3.Checkandadjustthefrontandreartraction-unit
tirepressuretothespeciedtirepressureinthe
tractionunitOperator’sManual.
4.Checkforbentblades;refertoCheckingfora
BentBlade(page20).
5.Cutgrassinatestareatodetermineifallcutting
unitsarecuttingatthesameheight.
