22.Ifnecessary,removetheengineisolatormounts(item8inFigure37)from
theengine.
Note:Thereisafastenerattheright,frontmotormountthatisattached
totheframegroundcable.
23.Installsuitablecoversandplugsonalloftheengineopeningstoprevent
contamination.
InstallingtheEngine
IMPORTANT
Ensurethatallpartsremovedfromtheengineduringmaintenance
oroverhaularecorrectlyinstalledontheengine.
1.Ifremoved,installtheenginemountbracketstotheengineandisolator
mountstotheframe.
2.Removeallofthecoversandplugsfromtheengineopeningsthatyouplaced
whileremovingtheengine.
CAUTION
Theengineisveryheavy,andahoistnotratedfortheweightofthe
enginemayfail,causingpossibleinjuryanddamagetotheengine.
Usehoistequipmentratedtolifttheengine,whichisapproximately
275kg(606lb).
3.Connectthehoisttothefrontandrearlifttabsontheengine.
IMPORTANT
Use1persontooperatetheliftorhoistwhiletheotherpersonto
guidestheengineintothemachine.
IMPORTANT
Donotdamagetheengine,fuellines,hydrauliclines,electrical
harness,oranyotherpartswhileinstallingtheengine.
4.Slowlylowertheengineintothemachine.
5.Aligntheenginemountbracketswiththeengineisolatormountsand
assemblethebracketstothemountswiththebolts,snubbingwashers,and
locknuts.
6.Connectthefuelhosetothewaterseparatoroutlet;refertoFigure42.
7.Installthehydraulicpumpassemblytotheengine;refertoGearPump(page
4–108)andPiston(Traction)Pump(page4–112).
8.OntheGroundsmaster5910machine,installtheairconditioningcompressor
tothebrackets;refertoInstallingtheAirConditioningCompressor(page
9–8).
