protectionforTEC-5002outputs.
TheTEC-5001slavecontroller(upper)monitorsthestatesofthefollowing
componentsasinputs:keyswitch,cuttingdeckliftswitches,tractionassist
switch,mow/transportswitch,andcuttingdeckpositionsensors.
TheTEC-5001controllercontrolstheelectricaloutputtothefollowing
components:liftcircuithydraulic-valvesolenoidcoils,traction-assist
hydraulic-valvesolenoidcoil,mow/transporthydraulic-valvesolenoidcoil,and
audioalarm.Thefuses4F2,4F3,and4F4providesthecircuitprotectionfor
TEC-5001outputs.
BecauseofthesolidstatecircuitrybuiltintotheTEC,thereisnoprocedureto
testthecontrollersdirectly.Thecontrollersmaygetdamagedifanattemptis
madetotestthemwithanelectricaltestdevice(e.g.,digitalmultimeter).
Note:TheTECcontrollersandtheInfoCenterdisplayusedonthe
Groundsmaster5900and5910arematchedforthecorrectoperationofthe
machine.Ifanyofthesecomponentsarereplaced,thenthesystemsoftware
mustbeprogrammedbyyourAuthorizedToroDistributor.
