CAUTION
Thecuttingdeckbladeswillrotatewhenyoulowerthecuttingdecks
withthePTOswitchintheONposition.
Keepawayfromthecuttingdecksduringthetesttopreventpersonal
injuryfromtherotatingblades.Donotstandinfrontofthemachine.
7.Sitontheseat,starttheengine,andincreasetheenginespeedtofullspeed
(2,750rpm).Engagethecuttingdecks.
8.Whilemonitoringthetesterpressuregauge,haveasecondpersonslowly
closetheowcontrolvalveonthetesteruntilyougetapressureof8,300
kPa(1,200psi).
Note:Useagraduatedcontainer,specialtoolTOR4077tomeasurethe
casedrainleakage.
9.Havethesecondpersonmeasuretheowfromtheopencasedrainhosefor
15seconds,thendisengagethecuttingdecks,opentheowcontrolvalveon
thetester,andshutofftheengine.Recordthetestresults.
Testresults:Thecasedrainleakageshouldbelessthan672ml(23oz)of
hydraulicuidin15seconds.
10.Ifthecasedrainowismorethan672ml(23oz),thedeckmotorisworn
ordamagedandshouldberepairedorreplaced.
11.Afteryoucompletethetesting,disconnectthetesterfromthemotorand
hydraulichose.Connectthereturnhosetothedeckmotoragain.Remove
thecapfromthePTOmanifoldteettingorhydraulictubeandconnectthe
casedrainhoseagain.
12.Repeatthetestfortheadditionaldeckmotorsifnecessary.
