thehosefromthe90°tting.
IMPORTANT
Whenyouinstallthetester,ensurethattheoilowindicator
arrowontheowgaugeisshowingthattheuidwillowfrom
thedisconnectedhydraulichose,throughthetester,andintothe
tractioncontrolmanifoldtting.
4.Installa40GPMtester(owandpressure)inseriesbetweenthemanifold
ttingandthedisconnectedhosetoallowowfromthetractionpumptothe
tester.Useahydraulichosekittoconnectthetestertothemachine;referto
SpecialT ools(page4–42).
Note:Ensurethatthettingandhoseconnectionsareproperlytightened.
IMPORTANT
Afterinstallingthe40GPMtester(owandpressure),ensurethat
theow-controlvalveonthetesterisfullyopen.
5.Afteryouinstallthetester,starttheengineandrunitatidlespeed.Checkfor
hydraulic-uidleaksatthetesterconnectionsandcorrectbeforecontinuing
thetest.
6.IncreasetheenginespeedwhileusingtheInfoCenterdisplaytoobtainthe
properenginespeedasfollows:
•Forthemachinewithserialnumberbelow313000300,theenginespeed
shouldbe2,400rpmforowtesting.
•Forthemachinewithserialnumberabove313000300,theenginespeed
shouldbe2,200rpmforowtesting.
