Forthetroubleshootingpurposes,usetheDIAGNOSTICSscreenstoidentify
ifaswitchanditscircuitwiringarefunctioningcorrectly.Forexample,ifthe
ENGINERUNdiagnosticscreenisdisplayedandthekeyswitchisintheRUN
position(ON),thePTOswitchcanbeengagedanddisengagedwhileviewingthe
screen.ThePTOENABLEDitemmustindicatethechangeinthestatusofthe
PTOswitch.Ifthereisnochangeonthescreenwhentheswitchchangesits
state,investigateforaswitchorcircuitwiringproblem.
WhentheTECcontrollersreceivesthecorrectinputs,theoutputsidentied
ontheDIAGNOSTICSscreenmustshowasON.Iftheinputsarecorrectly
positionedandtheoutputremainsOFF ,aproblemwiththeTECcontrollerpower
(circuitwiringorfuse)orcontrolleritselfmustbesuspected.
NotethattheDIAGNOSTICSscreencannotidentifythedamagedoutput
component.Forexample,ifthestartersolenoidisdamaged,theENGINERUN
screencouldshowthatalltheinputsandoutputsarecorrectforthefunction
selected.Thecontrolleroutputoccursbutthedamagedsolenoidpreventsthe
enginefromstarting.

Tolowertheleftorrightcuttingdeck,thefollowinginputsmustbeinitiated:
•Theleftorrightlift/lowerswitchispressedtolower(DECKLOWERON).
•Thehigh-lowspeedswitchmustbeinLow(HIGHRANGEOFF).
•Theseatmustbeoccupied(SEATON).
