1.Ensurethatallthethreads,thesealingsurfacesoftting,andthecomponent
portarefreeofburrs,nicks,scratches,orunwantedmaterial.
2.Tohelppreventahydraulicleak,replacetheO-ringwhenyouopenthe
connection.
3.LightlylubricatetheO-ringwithonlycleanhydraulicuid.Ensurethatthe
threadsofthettingarecleanwithnolubricantapplied.
IMPORTANT
Beforeinstallingthettingintotheport,determinethematerialof
whichtheportismade.Installingattingintoanaluminumport
requiresareducedinstallationtorque.
4.Installthettingintotheport,thenuseatorquewrenchandsockettotighten
thettingtotherecommendedtorquevaluewithinthespeciedrangeof
torquevalues;refertoFittingInstallationT orqueTable(page4–13).
