18. Hook the other end of the spring onto the bolt

located on the drive wheel shield (Fig. 483).

20. Lower the machine to a level surface.

21. Check the brake operation. Refer to “Checking the

Brake” on page 5-7.

2. Remove the hairpin cotter from the bottom end of

the upper linkage rod (Fig. 486).
