22. Remove the grease fi tting from the idler arm pivot
post housing (Fig. 1044).

Note: If a new mower belt is being installed, refer to
“Mower Belt Replacement - Installation” on
page 8-4 for front and rear fi xed idler pulley
placement.
1. Install a grease fi tting in the idler arm pivot post
housing (Fig. 1045).
21. Press new bushings into the idler assembly (Fig.
1043).
