Note:Therearetwowaysofcheckingthehydraulicoil.
Oneiswhentheoiliswarmandoneiswhentheoiliscold.
Thebafeinsidethetankhastwolevelsdependingiftheoil
iswarmorcold.
1.Positionmachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethepowertakeoff(PTO)andshutoffthe
engine.
3.Waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingpositionandthensettheparkingbrake.
4.Cleanareaaroundcapandllerneckofhydraulictank
(
Figure60).

5.Removecapfromllerneck.Lookinsidetocheckif
thereisuidinthereservoir.(Figure60).
6.Ifthereisnouid,adduidtothereservoiruntilit

7.Runthemachineatlowidlefor15minutestoallowany
airtopurgeoutofthesystemandwarmuid.Referto
StartingandStoppingtheEngine.
8.Rechecktheuidlevelwhiletheuidiswarm.If
required,adduidtothereservoiruntilitreachesthe
hotlevelofthebafe.
Note:Theuidlevelshouldbetothetopofthehot
levelofthebafe,whentheuidiswarm(
Figure60).
9.Installcaponllerneck.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.
Ifhydraulicuidisinjectedintotheskinit
mustbesurgicallyremovedwithinafew
hoursbyadoctorfamiliarwiththistype
ofinjury.Gangrenemayresultifthisis
notdone.
Keepbodyandhandsawayfrompinhole
leaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulic
leaks.
Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulic
systembeforeperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.
Makesureallhydraulicuidhosesand
linesareingoodconditionandallhydraulic
connectionsandttingsaretightbefore
applyingpressuretohydraulicsystem.
ReplacingtheHydraulicFilter
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst8hours
Every200hours
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
Important:Donotsubstituteautomotiveoillter
orseverehydraulicsystemdamagemayresult.
3.Removehydraulicreservoircapandtemporarilycover
openingwithaplasticbagandrubberbandtoprevent
allhydrouidfromdrainingout.
4.Locatelterunderenginebaseandplacedrainpan
underlter(Figure61).
5.Removetheoldlterandwipethelteradaptergasket
surfaceclean(Figure61).
