lubricant.
4.Removethedrainplugsandallowthegear
lubricanttodrainintothepans.
5.Installtheplugs.
6.Removeacheckplugandlltheaxlewith
approximately2.4L(80oz)of85W-140gear
lubeoruntilthelubricantisuptothebottomof
thehole.
7.Installthecheckplug.

ServiceInterval:Every400hours
ThegearboxislledwithSAE85W-140gearlube.
Thecapacityis0.5L(16oz).Visuallyinspectfor
leaksdaily.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,lowerthemowerdecks,shutoff
theengine,andremovethekey.
2.Removethecheck/llplugfromtheleftsideof
thegearboxandensurethatlubricantisupto
thebottomofthehole(Figure107).
Note:Ifthelevelislow,addenoughlubricantto
bringtheleveluptothebottomofthehole.
