IMPORTANT
Beforeliftingthemachinewithajack,reviewandfollowJacking
Instructions(page1–6).
2.Liftandsupportthemachinesothatallthewheelsareofftheground.
Note:Ifthewheelmotorwasreplaced,installahigh-owltertotheinletof
thenewmotorinsteadoftothetractionpumptting.Thiswillpreventsystem
contaminationfromenteringanddamagingthenewwheelmotor.
3.Cleanthejunctionofthehydraulichoseandleftelbowttingatthebottomof
thetractionpump(Figure80).Disconnectthehosefromtheleftpumptting.
4.ConnecttheTorohighowhydrauliclterinseriesbetweenthetraction
pumpttinganddisconnectedhose.Usethehydraulichosekit(referto
SpecialT ools(page4–31))toconnecttheltertothemachine.Ensurethat
thettingandhoseconnectionsareproperlytightened.
IMPORTANT
Usingotherhydraulicuidscoulddamagethehydraulicsystem.
UsethehydraulicuidsthatarespeciedintheOperator’sManual.
5.Afteryouinstallthehigh-owltertothemachine,checkandllthehydraulic
tankwiththecorrectquantityofnewhydraulicuid.
6.Starttheengineandrunitatlow-idlespeed(1,175to1,225rpm).Check
forhydraulic-uidleaksatthelterandhoseconnections.Correctanyleaks
beforeyouproceed.
CAUTION
Duringthisprocedure,allthewheelswillbeoffthegroundand
rotating.
Ensurethatthemachineiswellsupportedsoitwillnotmoveand
accidentallyfalltopreventinjuringanyonearoundthemachine.
IMPORTANT
Whileengagingthetractioncircuit,monitortheindicatoronthe
highowhydrauliclter.Iftheindicatorshowsred,eitherreduce
thepressureonthetractionpedalorreducetheenginespeedto
decreasethehydraulicowthroughthelter.
7.Withtheenginerunningatlow-idlespeed,slowlymovethetractionpedalto
theforwarddirectiontoallowowthroughthetractioncircuitandhigh-ow
lter.Keepthetractioncircuitengagedinforwardfor5minuteswhile
graduallyincreasingbothforwardpressureonthetractionpedalandengine
speed.Monitorthelterindicatortoensurethatthegreencolorisshowing
duringoperation.
