Therearwheelmotorswilltrytomovethemachineforward.
Useextremecautionwhenperformingthetest.
7.Slowlypressthetractionpedalintheforwarddirectionuntil6,900kPa(1,000
psi)isdisplayedonthetesterpressuregauge.Ensurethattherearwheels
arenotrotatingandrecordtheowmeterreading.
8.Releasethetractionpedal,shutofftheengine,rotateboththefrontwheels
90°andthentestagain.Releasethetractionpedal,shutofftheengine,
rotateboththefrontwheels180°andthentestagain.Usetheaverageofthe
3owmeterreadingstojudgethefrontwheelmotorperformance.Testing
ofwheelmotorleakageinthe3differentwheelpositionswillprovidethe
mostaccuratetestresults.
9.Leakageforarearwheelmotorshouldbelessthan4.5L/minute(1.2
gallons/minute).
10.Ifspecicationsarenotmet,repairorreplacethewornwheelmotor.
11.Afteryoucompletethetesting,releasepressurefromthehydraulicsystem;
refertoReleasingPressurefromtheHydraulicSystem(page4–6).
12.Disconnectthetesterfromthehydraulicsystem.
13.Connectallthedisconnectedhydraulichosesandtubesandsecurethe
hydraulictubestotheframe.
14.Starttheengine,checkforhydraulic-uidleaks,repairanyleaksasrequired,
andllthehydraulictankwiththecorrectquantityofnewhydraulicuid
beforereturningthemachinetoservice.
