ChangingtheHydraulic
Fluid
ServiceInterval:Every800hours
Changethehydraulicuidafterevery800operating
hours,innormalconditions.Iftheuidbecomes
contaminated,contactyourlocalT orodistributor
becausethesystemmustbeushed.Contaminated
uidlooksmilkyorblackwhencomparedtocleanoil.
1.Turntheengineoffandraisethehood.
2.Disconnectthecasereturnlinefromthebottom
ofthereservoirandletthehydraulicuidow
intoalargedrainpan.Connectthelinewhen
thehydraulicuidstopsdraining.
3.Fillthereservoirwithapproximately7.5gallons
ofhydraulicuid;refertoCheckingtheHydraulic
Fluid.
Important:Useonlythehydraulicuids
specied.Otheruidscouldcausesystem
damage.
4.Installthereservoircap.Starttheengineand
useallofthehydrauliccontrolstodistribute
hydraulicuidthroughoutthesystem.Also
checkforleaks;thenstoptheengine.
5.Checktheuidlevelandaddenoughtoraise
leveltheleveltotheFULLmarkonthedipstick.

ReplacingtheHydraulic
Filters
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst200hours
Every800hours
Changethe2hydraulicltersinitiallyaftertherst200
operatinghours.Thereafter,changetheltersafter
every800operatinghours,innormalconditions.
UseTororeplacementltersPartNo.94-2621forthe
rear(cuttingunit)ofthemachineand75-1310forthe
front(charge)ofthemachine.
Important:Useofanyotherltermayvoidthe
warrantyonsomecomponents.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,lower
thecuttingunits,stoptheengine,engagethe
parkingbrakes,andremovetheignitionkey.
2.Cleantheareaaroundtheltermountingarea.
Placeadrainpanunderthelterandremove
thelter(Figure55andFigure56).
3.Lubricatethenewltergasketandllthelter
withhydraulicuid.

4.Ensurethattheltermountingareaisclean.
Screwthelteronuntilthegasketcontacts
themountingplate;thentightenthelteran
additional1/2turn.
5.Starttheengineandletitrunforabouttwo
minutestopurgeairfromthesystem.Stopthe
engineandcheckforleaks.
