Alwaysdisconnectthenegative(black)
batterycablebeforedisconnectingthe
positive(red)cable.
Alwaysconnectthepositive(red)battery
cablebeforeconnectingthenegative
(black)cable.
Iftheterminalshavecorrosion,disconnectthecables
(thenegative(–)cablerst)andscrapetheclamps
andterminalsseparately.Connectthecables(positive
(+)cablerst)andcoattheterminalswithpetroleum
jelly.
ServicingtheFuses
Thefusesinmachineselectricalsystemarelocated
underconsolecover.
Ifthemachinestopsorhasotherelectricalsystem
issues,checkthefuses.Graspeachfuseinturnand
removethem1atatime,checkingifanyareblown.
Important:Ifyouneedtoreplaceafuse,always
usethesametypeandamperage-ratedfuseas
theoneyouarereplacing;otherwise,youcould
damagetheelectricalsystem.Refertothedecal
nexttothefusesforadiagramofeachfuseand
itsamperage.
Note:Ifafuseblowsfrequently,youprobablyhave
ashortintheelectricalsystemandshouldhaveit
servicedbyaqualiedservicetechnician.
