2.Letengineidlefor30to60secondsbeforeturningthe
ignitionkeytooff.

OperatingtheBladeControl
Lever(PTO)
Thebladecontrollever(PTO)engagesanddisengagespower
tothemowerblades.
EngagingtheMowerBlades
1.Toengagetheblades,squeezebladecontrolbailagainst
theuppercontrolbar(Figure9).
2.Pushthebladecontrollever(PTO)rmlyforward,
untilitlatchesover-center.
3.Restarttheengineandrepeattheproceduretoengage
themowerbladesifthebladecontrolbailisreleased.

DisengagingtheMowerBlades(PTO)
Todisengagetheblades,pullthebladecontrollever(PTO)
rearwardalltheway(Figure9).Theenginewillkillwhenthe
bladecontrolbailisreleasedwiththebladecontrollever
engaged.
Note:Itisnecessarytofullyandmanuallydisengagethe
bladecontrollever.
