Beforeeachuseordaily
•Checkthehorn.
•Inspecttheseatbelt(s)forwear,cuts,andotherdamage.Replacetheseatbelt(s)if
anycomponentdoesnotoperateproperly.
•Checktheforwardandreversetractionpedalaction.
•Checkthesafety-interlocksystem.
•Checkthecutter-drive-interlockswitch.
•Checktheparking-brake-interlockswitch.
•Greasethebearings,bushings,andpivots(greasethemimmediatelyafterevery
washingregardlessoftheintervallisted).
•Checktheair-cleaner-blockageindicator(servicetheaircleanerearlierifthe
air-cleanerindicatorshowsred;serviceitmorefrequentlyinextremelydirtyor
dustyconditions).
•Checktheengine-oillevel.
•Drainwaterorothercontaminantsfromthewaterseparator.
•Checkthetireairpressureinthefrontandreartires.
•Checkthetorquethewheel-lugnuts.
•Removedebrisfromthescreen,oilcoolers,andradiator(morefrequentlyindirty
operatingconditions).
•Checkthecoolingsystem.
•Checkthehydrauliclinesandhoses.
•Checkthehydraulic-uidlevel.
•Checktheheight-of-cutsetting.
•Inspecttheailrotorsandbladesfordamage,cracks,andloosefasteners.Replace
anydamagedorcrackedparts.
•Checktherearguard.
•Checkthefrontrubberguard.
•Checkforanyunusualvibrationoftherotor.
•Inspecttheseatbelt.
•Checkthefastenersofthemachine.
Aftereachuse
•Checkthetransmission-neutral-interlockswitch.
Every50hours
•Greasethebearings,bushings,andpivots(greasethemimmediatelyafterevery
washingregardlessoftheintervallisted).
•Inspectthebladesfordamageandexcessivewear.
•Ensurethateachbladeboltistorquedto45N∙m(33.2ft-lb).
•Checkthebladebolts.
•Checkthecutting-unitpivot.
•Checkforexcessiveplayintherotorbearings.
•Checktherear-rolleradjustment.
•Checktherear-rollerscraperwiretension.
Every100hours
•Checktheconditionandtensionofthealternatorbelt.
Every150hours
•Changetheengineoilandlter.
Every250hours
•Checktheconditionofthebattery.
•Checktheconditionofandcleanthebattery.
•Checkthebatterycableconnections.
•Checkthetransmission-controlcable.
•Inspectthecooling-systemhoses.

•Checktheenginespeed(idleandfullthrottle).
