Thereeldrivewilldisengageimmediatelyandthe
cuttingunitswillstopraising,approximately150mm
(6inches)abovegroundlevel.
Thisoperateswiththecuttingunitsloweredand
rotating.
Autolimitedliftinreversecausesthecuttingunits
toriseautomaticallytothelimitedliftpositionwhen
reversing.Theywillreturntotheoatingposition
whenreturningtoforwardtravel.Thecuttingunits
continuetorotateduringthisoperation.

Forwardrotationcuttingunitdriveengagement:
Pressthetopofthecuttingunitdriveswitchtothe
forwardposition(Figure30).
Reverserotationcuttingunitdriveengagement:
Pressthebottomofthecuttingunitdriveswitchtothe
reverseposition(Figure30).
Allcuttingunitdrivesdisengagement:Setthe
switchtothemiddleposition(Figure30).
Tolowerthecuttingunits:Thecuttingunitdrive
switchmustbesettoforward.Operatetheliftcontrol
switch(s)inadownwarddirection.Thereelwilldrive
whenthecuttingunitsareapproximately150mm(6
inches)abovegroundlevel.
ClearingtheCuttingUnits
WARNING
Neverattempttorotatethecuttingunitsby
hand.
Theremaybesomeresidualpressurein
thehydraulicsystemwhichcouldcause
injurythroughsuddenmovementof
thecuttingunit(s)whentheblockageis
released.
Alwayswearprotectiveglovesandusea
suitablestrongwoodeninstrument.
Ensurethatthewoodeninstrumentwillt
betweenthebladesandthroughthereel
andislongenoughtoprovidesufcient
leveragetoreleasetheblockage.
