3.Placefrontange,sealsidedown,onaatsurface.
4.Installthepressureseals,atsideoutward,intothegroovesinthewear
plates.Followbycarefullyplacingthebackupgaskets,atsideoutward,
betweenthepressuresealsandthegroovesinthewearplate.
5.Applyalightcoatingofpetroleumjellytotheexposedsideofthefrontange.
6.Lubricatethedrivegearshaftwithcleanhydraulicoil.Insertthedriveend
ofthedriveshaftthroughthewearplatewiththepressuresealsidedown
andtheopensideofthepressuresealpointingtotheinletsideofthemotor.
Carefullyinstallshaftintofrontange.
7.Lubricatetheidlergearshaftwithcleanhydraulicoil.Installidlergearshaft
intotheremainingpositioninthefrontwearplate.Applyalightcoatingof
cleanhydraulicoiltogearfaces.
8.Installrearwearplatewithpressuresealsideupandopensideofthe
pressuresealpointingtotheinletsideofthemotor.
9.ApplyalightcoatingofpetroleumjellytonewO−ringsandO−ringgrooves
inthebody.InstallnewO−ringstothebody.
10.Installlocatingdowelsinbody.Alignmarkerlineonthebodyandfrontange.
IMPORTANT
Donotdislodgesealsduringinstallation.
11.Gentlyslidethebodyontotheassembly.Firmhandpressureshouldbe
sufcienttoengagethedowels.
12.Installthefour(4)capscrewswithwashersandhandtighten.
IMPORTANT
Preventdamagewhenclampingthefanmotorintoavise;clampon
thefrontangeonly.Also,useavisewithsoftjaws.
13.Placefrontangeofthemotorintoavisewithsoftjawsandalternatelytorque
thecapscrews45N·m(33ft−lb).
14.Removemotorfromvise.
15.Placeasmallamountofcleanhydraulicoilintheinletofthemotorandrotate
thedriveshaftawayfromtheinletonerevolution.Ifanybindingisnoted,
disassemblethemotorandcheckforassemblyproblems.
