ProcedureforRearTractionCircuitReliefValve(RV)PressureTest
Note:Adjustablereliefvalve(RV)inthereartractioncontrolmanifoldreduces
rearaxlemotorpressurecreatedindownhill,dynamicbrakingconditionsto
preventrearwheellockup.

Note:Ifthereartractioncircuitreducingvalve(PR)pressureisexcessive,
operationofthereartractionreliefvalve(RV)maybeaffected.Beforeadjusting
reartractionreliefvalve(RV),makesurethatpressurereducingvalve(PR)
pressureiscorrect.
1.Parkmachineonalevelsurfacewiththecuttingdecksloweredandoff.
Makesurehydraulicoilisatnormaloperatingtemperature,engineisoffand
theparkingbrakeisapplied.
Note:Thistestusesthesamepressuregaugepositionasusedtomeasure
reversetractioncircuitreducingvalve(PR)pressure.
Note:The#6zeroleakplugontheinsideofreartractionmanifoldisazero
leakplugthathasataperedsealingsurfaceontheplughead.Lightlyrap
theplugheadusingapunchandhammerbeforeusinganallenwrench
toremovetheplug:theimpactwillallowplugremovalwithlesschanceof
damagetothesocketheadoftheplug.

3.Connecta70bar(1000PSI)pressuregaugewithhydraulichoseattached
toinstalleddiagnostictting.
4.Startengineandincreaseenginespeedtohighidlespeed.Makesurethat
HI/LOWswitchisintheLOW(mow)positionandreleasetheparkingbrake.
5.OperatethemachineinLOWspeed(mow)withthecuttingdeckslowered.
