1.Assembleheater/evaporatorassemblyusingFigure356asaguide.
Makesurethatexpansionvalveiscoveredwithinsulatingtapetoprevent
condensationissues.

4.Slideairducthoseontoheater/evaporatorassemblycoversandsecurewith
hoseclamp.
5.Removecapsthatwereplacedonhosesandttingsduringtheremoval
process.Usinglabelsplacedduringremoval,properlysecurehosesto
heatercore,evaporatoranddrier−receiver.
6.Makesurethatcondensationhosesaresecuredtobottomhousingof
heater/evaporatorassemblyandareroutedtocabframeforproperdraining
ofcondensate.
7.Connectwireharnessconnectorstofanmotorandbinaryswitchon
drier−receiver.
8.Makesurethatallmachineairconditioningcomponentsareinstalledand
secure.
9.Haveacertiedairconditioningservicetechnicianevacuatetheair
conditioningsystemcompletely,properlyrechargethesystemwithR134a
refrigerantandthenleaktestthesystem.A/Csystemcapacityis1.35
poundsofR134arefrigerant.
10.Operatetheheatersystemtomakesurethatnoenginecoolantleaksexist.
11.Lowerandsecureroofassembly(seeRoofAssembly(page10–8)).
