Occurswhenexhaustbackpressurein
theDPFincreasesduetocontinuedsoot
buildup.Maybecausedbyprolonged
operationatlowenginespeed,lowengine
load,ortheuseofincorrectfuelorengine
oil.
MayoccuriftheInfoCenterissettoinhibit
regen(preventingaResetRegeneration)
andmachineoperationiscontinued.
Canbeinitiatedwhenpromptedbythe
engineECUorafteraminimumof50
hoursofengineoperation.
Forsoftware120-6372Pandup:if
aparkedregenerationisignored,the
machinemowfunction(PTO)willbe
disabledapproximately2hoursafterthe
rstnotication.
Manuallyinitiateaparkedregenerationassoonas
possible.Aparkedregenerationrequires30to60
minutesandshouldnotbestartedwithlessthan1/4
tankoffuel.Themachinemustremainstationary
(cannotbeoperated)duringtheentireparked
regenerationprocess.
TheengineECUadjuststheexhaustintakethrottle
toraisetheexhausttemperature.
Forallsoftwarerevisions:theInfoCenter
displaysadvisory#188and/orthestationary
regenerationicon.
Recovery
Occurswhenexhaustbackpressurein
theDPFincreasesduetosootbuildup
reachingacriticallevel.
Canonlybeinitiatedwhenpromptedby
theengineECU.

disabledatrstnotication.
Manuallyinitiatearecoveryregenerationassoon
aspossible.Arecoveryregenerationwilltake
approximately3hoursandshouldnotbestartedwith
lessthan1/2tankoffuel.Themachinemustremain
stationary(cannotbeoperated)duringtheentire
recoveryregenerationprocess.
