A.Topreventcontaminationofhydraulicsystem,thoroughlycleanexterior
offanmotorandttings.
B.Disconnectthree(3)hydraulictubesfromfanmotor.Putcapsorplugs
onttingsandtubestopreventcontamination.Labelhydrauliclinesfor
properassembly.
C.Removesix(6)capscrewsandangenutsthatsecurefanmotorbracket
toradiator.
D.Carefullyremovefanmotorandbracketassemblyfrommachineand
placeonsuitableworksurface.
9.Removehexnut(item9)andwasher(item8)thatsecurefanhubtofan
motor.Usesuitablepullertocarefullyremovefanhubfromfanmotorshaft.
Locateandretrievewoodruffkeyfrommotorshaft.
10.Removetwo(2)capscrews(item15),atwashers(item16)andlocknuts
(item14)thatsecurefanmotortofanmotorbracket.Removefanmotor
frombracket.
11.Ifnecessary,removettingsfrommotoranddiscardO−rings.

1.Ifttingswereremovedfromfanmotor,lubricateandplacenewO−ringsonto
ttings.Installandtightenttingsinportopenings(seeInstallingHydraulic
HosesandTubes(O-RingFaceSeal)(page5–8)).
2.Positionfanmotortofanmotorbracketandsecurewithcapscrews(item
15),atwashers(item16)andlocknuts(item14).
3.Thoroughlycleantaperedsurfacesoffanmotorshaftandfanhub.Place
woodruffkeyinslotinmotorshaft.
4.Positionfanhubontomotorshaftandsecurewithwasher(item8)andhex
nut(item9).
IMPORTANT
Makesuretonotdamagetheradiatororothermachinecomponents
whileinstallingthefanmotorandbracketassembly.
5.Carefullypositionfanmotorandbracketassemblytoradiatorandsecurewith
six(6)capscrewsandangenuts.
6.Secureradiatorassemblytoframewithremovedfasteners(Figure133).
7.Connectthree(3)hydraulictubestocoolingfanmotor(seeInstalling
HydraulicHosesandTubes(O-RingFaceSeal)(page5–8)).
8.Positionfantofanhubandsecurewithfour(4)capscrewsandwashers.
Torquescrewsfrom17to18N·m(12to14ft−lb).
9.Installradiatorshrouds(lowerandupper)andaircleanerhose(Figure133).
Makesurethatclearancebetweenshroudsandcoolingfanisatleast4.6
mm(0.180in)atallpoints.
