ChangingtheHydraulicFluid
ServiceInterval:Every2,000hours—Ifyou
areusingtherecommended
hydraulicuid,changethe
hydraulicuid.
Every800hours—Ifyouarenotusingthe
recommendedhydraulicuidorhaveever
lledthereservoirwithanalternativeuid,
changethehydraulicuid.
Ifthehydraulicuidbecomescontaminated,the
hydraulicsystemmustbeushed.Contaminated
uidlooksmilkyorblackwhencomparedtoclean
oil.ContactyourauthorizedT orodistributorfor
assistance.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
cuttingunits,shutofftheengine,andremove
thekey.
2.Removethedrainplugfromthebottom,frontof
thereservoirandletthehydraulicuidowinto
alargedrainpan.
3.Installandtightentheplugwhenthehydraulic
uidstopsdraining.
4.Fillthereservoir(Figure79)withhydraulicuid;
refertoHydraulicFluidSpecications(page62).

specied.Otheruidsdamagethesystem.

5.Installthereservoircap,starttheengine,
anduseallthehydrauliccontrolstodistribute
hydraulicuidthroughoutthesystem.
Note:Alsocheckforleaks;thenshutoffthe
engine.
6.Checktheuidlevelandaddenoughtoraise
leveltheleveltotheFullmarkonthedipstick.
