2. Loosely install 3 bolts and nuts securing the brake to

the frame (Fig. 515).

3. Install the bolt, spring and jam nut (Fig. 516).

4. Loosely install the lock nut onto the bolt so that there

are 3 to 4 threads protruding beyond the lock nut

(Fig. 517).

5. Hook the free end of the spring onto the brake arm

bolt (Fig. 518).
