Beforeliftingthemachinewithajack,reviewandfollowJacking
Instructions(page1–6).
2.Liftthemachinewithajackandremovethedrivewheel,supportthemachine
withjackstands;refertoRemovingtheRearWheel(page6–4).
3.Removethebrakeassemblyfromthemachine;refertoRemovingthe
ParkingBrakes(page6–9).
IMPORTANT
Donothitthewheelhub,wheel-hubpuller,orwheelmotorwitha
hammerwhileremovingorinstalling.Hammeringcandamagethe
wheelmotor.
4.Useanappropriatepullertoloosenthewheelhubfromthewheelmotor.
5.Loosen,butdonotremovethelocknutthatsecuresthewheelhubtothe
wheelmotor.
6.Removethelocknutandwheelhubthatisloosenedfromthemotorshaft.
7.Locateandretrievethewoodruffkeyfromthewheelmotorshaft.

8.Cleanthehydraulichoseendsandttingsonthewheelmotortoprevent
contaminantsfromenteringintothehydraulicsystem.

Removethehydraulichosesfromthettingsonthewheelmotor.Allowthe
hosestodrainintoasuitablecontainer.
10.Putamarkonthehydraulicttingorientationforcorrectassemblyand
removethehydraulicttingsfromthewheelmotor.
11.RemoveanddiscardtheO-ringsfromthettings.
12.Installcleancapsorplugsonthehydraulichosesandwheelmotorportsto
preventsystemcontamination.
13.Supportthewheelmotortopreventitfromfallingduringremoval.
