TheengineusedonyourGroundsmasterisaYanmarTNVSeries,dieselengine
thatcomplieswithEPATier4Femissionregulations.Theenginefeatures
includeanelectroniccontrolunit(ECU)thatcontrolsacommonrailfuelinjection
systemwithdirectinjection,water-cooledexhaustgasrecirculation(EGR),an
electronicgovernor,anexhaustsystemdieseloxidationcatalyst(DOC),and
anexhaustdiesel-particulatelter(DPF)withactiveregeneration.Glowplugs
areusedtoassiststartingtheengine.Numerousenginesensorsareusedto
allowtheengineECUtomonitorandcontroltheengineoperationforoptimum
engineperformance.

DieselParticulateFilter(DPF)
Thedieselparticulatelter(DPF)usedonYanmarTier4Fcompliantenginesis
designedtobreakdownthehazardouselementsintheexhaustandpreventthe
dischargeofunburntfueloroilknownasparticulatematterorsoot.TheDPF
includesaDieselOxidationCatalyst(DOC),aSootFilter(SF),2temperature
