TheOperator’sManualprovidesinformationregardingtheoperation,general
maintenance,andmaintenanceintervalsforyourmachine.Refertothe
Operator’sManualforadditionalinformationwhenservicingthemachine.
ElectricalComponentsandSchematic
Informationregardingtheelectricalcabcomponents(switchesandrelays)are
includedinChapter6:ElectricalSystem(page6–1).TheElectricalSchematics
andWireHarnessDrawingsfortheoperatorcabinAppendixA(pageA–1).
AirConditioningSystem
Theairconditioningsystemusedonthismachineconsistsofthefollowing
components:
1.AcompressormountedontherightsideoftheengineanddrivenbyaV-belt.
2.Acondenserassemblyand2condenserfanslocatedattherearofthecab
roofassembly.
3.Anevaporatorcore,adrier-receiver,andanexpansionvalvemountedinthe
headlinerofthecab.
4.Thenecessaryhosesandtubesthatconnecttheairconditioningsystem
components.
5.Ablowerfanmotorthatprovidesairmovementthroughtheevaporatorand
intothecab.Thefanmotorisacomponentofthemixingboxlocatedinthe
cabheadlinerandisalsousedforthecabheatingsystem.
6.Theoperatorcontrolstoturntheairconditioningontoadjustthefanspeed,
andtocontrolthecabairtemperature.
CabHeaterSystem
Thecabheatersystemusedonyourmachineconsistsofthefollowing
components:
1.Aheatercorelocatedintheheadlinerofthecab.
2.Thehosestoallowacircuitforenginecoolanttocirculatethroughtheheater
core.
3.Ablowerfanmotorthatprovidesairmovementthroughtheheatercoreand
intothecab.Thefanmotorisacomponentofthemixingboxlocatedinthe
cabheadlinerandisalsousedfortheairconditioningsystem.
4.Theoperatorcontrolstoadjustthefanspeedandtocontrolthecabair
temperature.
