Severalhydraulicsolenoidvalvecoilsareusedonthehydrauliccontrolmanifolds
ofGroundsmaster4100−Dand4110−Dmachines.WhenenergizedbytheTEC
controller,thesecoilsprovidehydrauliccircuitcontrol.
Solenoidvalvecoilswithtwo(2)differentresistancespecicationsareusedon
the4100−Dand4110−D.Thecorrectresistanceofacoilcanbeidentiedby
measuringtheheightanddiameterofthecoil(Figure221).Resistancetestingof
thecoilscanbedonewiththecoilremainingonthehydraulicvalve.
Note:Toassistintroubleshooting,identicalsolenoidcoilscanbeexchanged.If
theproblemfollowstheexchangedcoil,aproblemwiththecoillikelyexists.If
theproblemremainsunchanged,somethingotherthanthesolenoidcoilisthe
problemsource(e.g.switch,circuitwiring,hydraulicproblem).Refertoyour
PartsCatalogtodetermineifsolenoidcoilsareidentical.
