CAUTION
Allwheelswillbeoffthegroundandrotatingduringthisprocedure.
Makesuremachineiswellsupportedsoitwillnotmoveand
accidentallyfalltopreventinjuringanyonearoundmachine.
IMPORTANT
Whileengagingthetractioncircuit,monitorthehighowhydraulic
lterindicator.Iftheindicatorshouldshowred,eitherreduce
tractionpedalsettingorreduceenginespeedtodecreasehydraulic
owthroughthelter.
7.Withenginerunningatlowidlespeed,slowlymovethetractionpedaltothe
forwarddirectiontoallowowthroughthetractioncircuitandhighowlter.
Keeptractioncircuitengagedforve(5)minuteswhilegraduallyincreasing
bothforwardpressureontractionpedalandenginespeed.Monitorlter
indicatortomakesurethatgreencolorisshowingduringoperation.
8.Withenginerunningathighidlespeedandtractionpedalmovedtothe
forwarddirection,periodicallyapplybrakestoincreasepressureintraction
circuit.Whilemonitoringlterindicator,continuethisprocessforanadditional
ve(5)minutes.
IMPORTANT
Ifusingalterthatisnotthebi−directionalTorohighowlter,
donotpressthetractionpedalinthereversedirection.Ifowis
reversedwhenusingalterthatisnotbi−directional,debrisfrom
thelterwillre−enterthetractioncircuit.
9.Withenginerunningathighidlespeed,alternatelymovetractionpedalfrom
forwardtoreverse.Whilemonitoringlterindicator,continuethisprocessfor
anadditionalve(5)minutes.
10.Shutengineoffandremovekeyfromkeyswitch.
11.Removehighowhydrauliclterandhydraulichosekitfrommachine.
Connecthydraulichosetorightsidepiston(traction)pumptting.Makesure
toproperlytightenhose(seeInstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes(O-Ring
FaceSeal)(page5–8)).
12.Lowermachinetoground.
13.Checkoillevelinhydraulicreservoirandaddcorrectoilifnecessary.
