Afoursectiongearpumpiscoupledtothepiston(traction)pump(Figure44).
Thethirdgearpumpsectionsupplieshydraulicowtothelift/lowercircuit,the
enginecoolingfancircuitandthetractionchargecircuit.
Eachofthecuttingdecksections(main,rightwingandleftwing)canberaised
independentlywiththeuseofthree(3)switchesonthearmrestconsole.
PressingtherearofaliftswitchprovidesaninputfortheTECcontrollertoraise
thecuttingdeckorwingdeck.Thecontrollerprovideselectricaloutputsto
solenoidsinthecombinationcontrolmanifoldtoallowappropriatemanifoldvalve
shiftthatcausesacuttingdecktoraise.
Areliefvalve(RV2)locatedinthecombinationcontrolmanifoldlimitslift/lower
circuitpressureto172bar(2500PSI).Anadjustablepressurerelievingvalve
(PR)inthecombinationmanifoldmaintainsbackpressure(counterbalance)on
thedeckliftcylinderstoallowsomeofthecuttingdeckweighttobetransferred
tothetractionunittoimprovetraction.
Whenthelift/lowercircuitisnotbeingused(allliftswitchesintheneutral
position),solenoidvalveS1inthecombinationmanifoldisnotenergizedand
gearpumpsectionoilowisdirectedtowardtheenginecoolingfanmotor.
Note:Toraiseacuttingdeck,theoperatormustbeintheoperatorseat.
RaiseCenterCuttingDeck
Toraisethecentercuttingdeck,therearofthecenterconsoleliftswitchis
depressed.TheswitchsignalisaninputtotheTECcontrollerwhichprovides
anelectricaloutputtosolenoidvalvesS1andS5inthecombinationmanifold.
Theenergizedsolenoidvalvesshifttoallowapassageforcircuitoilowtothe
barrelendofthecenterdeckliftcylinders.ShiftedS1allowsgearpumpsection
oilowtobeavailableforthelift/lowercircuits.ShiftedS5allowsanoilpathto
thebarrelendofthefrontliftcylinderscausingtheliftcylinderstoextendand
raisethecentercuttingdeck.CheckoriceOR5underthettinginmanifoldport
C2allowsoilowtobypasstheoricewhenthecenterdeckisraising.Anorice
inmanifoldportOR4(.040)existstocontroltheraisespeedofthecuttingdeck.
