Every800hours
Changetheoilinitiallyaftertherst200hoursofoperation
andevery800hoursofoperationthereafter.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Cleantheareaaroundthe3drainplugs;1oneachend
and1inthecenter(Figure60).
3.Removethecheckplugstoeaseindrainingoftheoil.
4.Removethedrainplugsandallowtheoiltodraininto
thepans.

5.Cleantheareaaroundthedrainplugonthebottomof
thegearbox(Figure61).
6.Removethedrainplugfromthegearboxandallowthe
oiltodrainintoapan.Removethellplugtoease
indrainingoftheoil.

Toe-In
ServiceInterval:Every800hours
Afterevery800operatinghoursorannually,checktherear
wheeltoe-in.
1.Measurethecenter-to-centerdistance(ataxleheight)
atthefrontandrearofthesteeringtires.Thefront
measurementmustbe6mm(1/4inch)lessthanthe
rearmeasurement.
2.Toadjust,loosentheclampsatbothendsofthetie
rods.
3.Rotatethetierodendtomovethefrontofthetire
inwardoroutward.
4.Tightenthetierodclampswhentheadjustmentis
correct.
ChangingtheFrontTires
1.Lowerthewingcuttingunitstotheground.
2.Raisethefrontofthemachineseveralinchesoffthe
groundandsupportw/jackstands.
3.RefertoPivoting(Tilting)theFrontCuttingUnit
UprightinMowerMaintenance.
4.Pivotthecuttingunitforwardtoallowremovalofthe
tirerequiringservice.
