Removal(Figure93)
1.Parkmachineonalevelsurface,lowercuttingdecks,stopengine,apply
parkingbrakeandremovekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.ReadtheGeneralPrecautionsforRemovingandInstallingHydraulicSystem
Components(page5–83).
3.Drainreservoirintoasuitablecontainer.
IMPORTANT
Followalllocalcodesandregulationswhenrecyclingordisposing
hydraulicuid.
IMPORTANT
Makesuretonotdamagetheelectricalwireharness,hydraulichoses
orothercomponentswhileraisingtheoperatorplatform.
4.Raiseandsupportoperatorplatformfromthemainframetoallowclearance
toremovethehydraulicreservoirfromthemachine(seeOperatorPlatform
(page8–18)).
5.Disconnecthydraulichosesfromreservoir.Labeldisconnectedhydraulic
hosesforproperinstallation.Putplugsonopenhydraulichosesandreservoir
ttingstopreventcontamination.
6.Loosenhoseclamp(item24)thatsecuressuctionhosetotankstrainer.
Removesuctionhose(item25)fromstrainer.
7.Removetankstrainer(item14)fromreservoir.
8.Removecapscrew(item22)andatwasher(item21)thatsecuretank
mount(item19)toleftsideofframe.
9.Carefullyremovehydraulicreservoirandtankmountassembly(items3,15,
16,17,18and19)frommachine.
Inspection
1.Cleanhydraulicreservoirandtankstrainerwithsolvent.
2.Inspectreservoirforleaks,cracksorotherdamage.

Note:Makesurethatrecessbumper(item3)andthinspacer(item4)are
securedtorightsideofframebeforehydraulicreservoirisinstalledtomachine.
