CAUTION
Cuttingdeckbladeswillrotatewhencuttingdecksareloweredwith
PTOswitchinONposition.Keepawayfromcuttingdecksduring
testtopreventpersonalinjuryfromrotatingblades.Donotstand
infrontofthemachine.
4.Startengineandincreaseenginespeedtohighidlespeed.Releasethe
parkingbrake.
5.Watchpressuregaugecarefullywhileslowlyclosingthetesterowcontrol
valvetofullyclosed.
6.AsthePTOreliefvalvelifts,systempressureshouldbeapproximately:
200to213bar(2900to3100PSI)forthecenterandleftdecks
131to144bar(1900to2100PSI)fortherightdeck
7.Fullyopentesterowcontrolvalveanddisengagecuttingdecks.Shutoff
engineandrecordtestresults.
8.Ifreliefpressureisincorrect,removePRVvalveonmowmanifoldandclean
orreplacevalve(seePTOManifoldService(page5–163)).Also,ifpressure
isstilllowafterPRVvalveservice,checkforrestrictioninpumpintakeline.
Thefrontgearpumpsection(centercuttingdeckcircuit)and/orthesecond
gearpumpsection(sidecuttingdeckcircuits)couldalsobesuspectedof
wear,damageorinefciency(seeGearPumpFlow(UsingTesterwith
PressureGaugeandFlowMeter)(page5–79)).
9.Whenreliefpressuretestingiscomplete,disconnecttesterfromPTO
manifoldandhydraulichose.Reconnecthydraulichosethatwas
disconnectedfortestprocedure.
