CAUTION
Coolingfanbladeswillrotateduringthetestprocedure.Keepaway
fromcoolingfanbladesduringtesttopreventpersonalinjuryfrom
rotatingblades.
11.Sitintheoperator’sseat,starttheengineandsetthethrottletohighidle
speed.
12.Whilewatchingthetesterpressuregauge,slowlycloseowcontrolvalveon
testeruntilapressureof138bar(2000PSI)isobtained.
Note:Useagraduatedcontainer(specialtoolTOR4077)tomeasurecase
drainleakage.
13.Measureoilowfromthecasedraintesthosefor15seconds,thenopenthe
testerowcontrolvalveandstoptheengine.Recordthetestresults.
TESTRESULTS:Casedrainleakageshouldbelessthan745ml(25oz)of
hydraulicuidin15seconds(3LPM(0.8GPM)).
14.Ifthecasedrainowismorethan745ml(25oz)in15seconds,thefan
motoriswornordamagedandshouldberepairedorreplaced.
15.Removethetesterandhosefancontrolmanifoldandfanshroudbulkhead
tting.Installtheremovedhydraulictube.
16.Removethecasedrainhose.Removetheplugfromthecasedraintubeand
reconnecttofanshroudbulkheadtting.
17.Reconnectthewireharnesstoproportionalreliefvalvesolenoid.
18.Starttheengineandrunatlowidlespeed.Checkforhydraulicleaksand
makecorrectionsifnecessarybeforereturningmachinetoservice.
19.Lowerandsecurehoodwhennished.
