coveronoperatorplatform(Figure312).Positionbrakecablesawayfrom

7.Disconnectallelectricalwireharnessconnectionsbetweenoperatorplatform
componentsandmainframelocations.Asneeded,labeldisconnected
electricalconnectionsforproperinstallation.
8.OnGroundsmaster4110machines:
A.Removeoperatorcabfrommachine.
B.Removecabletiesthatsecureoperatorcabcoolantandairconditioner
hosesinenginecompartmenttoallowtheoperatorplatformtoberaised.
Notelocationofcabletiesforassemblypurposes.
Note:Ifdesired,operatorseatcanberemovedfromoperatorplatformto
reduceoverallweightofoperatorplatformassembly(seeOperatorSeat
(page8–23)).
9.Removefour(4)capscrews,atwashers,plainwashersandlocknutsthat
secureoperatorplatformtomachineframe.
IMPORTANT
Makesuretonotdamagetheelectricalwireharnessorother
componentswhileraisingtheoperatorplatform.
10.Carefullyraiseoperatorplatformasneededtoaccesscomponentstobe
serviced.Supportplatformtopreventitfrommovingorshifting.
Assembly(Figure308)
1.Makesurethatallmachinecomponentsareinstalledbelowoperatorplatform
beforeplatformisloweredtoframe.
IMPORTANT
Makesuretonotdamagetheelectricalwireharnessorother
componentswhileloweringtheoperatorplatform.
2.Carefullyloweroperatorplatformandpositionovercentermounts(item4)
thatareinstalledintheframe.
3.Secureoperatorplatformtomachineframewithfour(4)capscrews,at
washers,plainwashersandlocknuts.T orquelocknutsfrom129to155
N·m(95to115ft−lb).
4.Connectallelectricalwireharnessconnectionsbetweenoperatorplatform
componentsandmainframelocations.
5.OnGroundsmaster4110machines:
A.Installoperatorcabtomachine.
B.Secureoperatorcabcoolantandairconditionerhosesinengine
compartmentwithcabletiesinlocationsnotedduringdisassembly.
