ttingstothesteeringcontrolvalveusingthemarksmadeduringtheremoval
processtoproperlyorientatettings(refertoFigure125andFigure126).
Tightenthettings;refertoInstallingtheHydraulicFittings(SAEStraight
ThreadO-RingFittings)(page5–10).
2.InstallthesteeringcontrolvalveusingFigure124asaguide.
3.Applyloctitetofour(4)boltsandsecurethesteeringcontrolvalvetothe
steeringcolumnwithfour(4)bolts.T orqueboltsinacriss-crosspatternfrom
8to11N-m(6to8ft-lb).
4.Removethecapsandplugsthatwereinstalledtothehydrauliclinesand
ttingsduringtheremovalprocess.
5.Usingthelabelsplacedduringsteeringcontrolvalveremoval,properlyinstall
thehydrauliclinestocontrolvalve;referInstallingHydraulicHosesand
Tubes(O-RingFaceSeal)(page5–8).
6.Checkthehydraulicuidlevelinthehydraulictankandaddcorrectquantity
ofuidifnecessary;refertotheOperator’sManual.
7.Operatethemachinefunctionsslowlyuntilairisoutofsystem;referto
ChargeHydraulicSystem(page5–91).
8.Installthesteeringtowercovertothemachine.
