changetheoperatingangle,asroughterraincould
overturnthemachine.
•Avoidsuddenstartswhenmowinguphillbecausethe
machinemaytipbackwards.
•Beawarethatlossoftractionmayoccurgoing
downhill.Weighttransfertothefrontwheelsmay
causedrivewheelstoslipandcauselossofbraking
andsteering.
•Alwaysavoidsuddenstartingorstoppingona
slope.Iftireslosetraction,disengagethebladesand
proceedslowlyofftheslope.
•Followthemanufacturer'srecommendationsfor
wheelweightsorcounterweightstoimprovestability.
•Useextremecarewithattachments.Thesecan
changethestabilityofthemachineandcauseloss
ofcontrol.
UsingtheRolloverProtectionSystem
(ROPS)
•Keeptherollbarintheraisedandlockedposition
andusetheseatbeltwhenoperatingthemachine.
•Becertainthattheseatbeltcanbereleasedquickly
intheeventofanemergency.
•Beawarethereisnorolloverprotectionwhenthe
rollbarisdown.
•Checktheareatobemowedandneverfoldthe
ROPSinareaswherethereareslopes,dropoffsor
water.
•Lowertherollbaronlywhenabsolutelynecessary.
Donotweartheseatbeltwiththerollbarfolded
down.
•Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances(i.e.
branches,doorways,electricalwires)beforedriving
underanyobjectsanddonotcontactthem.
