AdjustingtheThrottle
1.Movethethrottleleverforwardtothefrontof
thecontrolpanelslotandthenmoveitback
approximately1/8inchintotheFASTidledetent
position.
2.Checkthepositionofthespeedcontrolleveronthe
enginefuelinjectionpump.Thespeedcontrollever
shouldbecontactingthehighspeedscrewwhenthe
throttlecontrolleverisintheFAST(detent)position

•Useafunnelandllthefueltankoutdoors,in
anopenarea,whentheengineisoffandiscold.
Wipeupanyfuelthatspills.
•Donotllthefueltankcompletelyfull.Addfuel
tothefueltankuntilthelevelistothebottom
ofthellerneck.
•Neversmokewhenhandlingfuel,andstayaway
fromanopenameorwherefuelfumesmaybe
ignitedbyaspark.
•Storefuelinaclean,safety-approvedcontainer
andkeepthecapinplace.
ServicingtheWaterSeparator
ServiceInterval:Every400hours
Drainthewaterorothercontaminantsfromthewater
separator(Figure47)daily.Replacetheltercanister
afterevery400hoursofoperation.
1.Placeacleancontainerunderthefuellter.
2.Loosenthedrainplugonthebottomofthelter
canister(Figure47).
