Mower Spindle Drive Belt Removal

(36” Mower Deck)

5. Rotate the belt guide into place so that it is approxi-

mately 1/8” (3mm) away from the PTO drive belt

(Fig. 1156).

7. Install the carrier frame cover (Fig. 1158).

1. Remove the PTO drive belt. Refer to “PTO Drive Belt

Removal” on page 8-8.

2. Unhook the idler spring from the spring post (Fig.

1159).

6. Tighten the nut securing the center spindle belt

guide to the mower deck (Fig. 1157).
